Now to put the "bio" in with electromagnetism and cause a few people's hairs to stand on end. Bio is indeed life and all life has an electrical field (aura) as seen with Kirlean photography. Our brains are all chemical/electrical and can interact with an EM field. This brings me to an article from The Wall Street Journal dated Monday, January 4, 1993. Front page and entitled Nonlethal Arms New Class of Weapons Could Incapacitate Foe Yet Limit Casualites by Thomas E. Ricks. To quote the article "One major reason they do exist now(non lethal arms) is that about a decade ago, John Alexander began thinking of them. An Army Special Forces veteran of Vietnam, he led ethnic Cambodian irregulars in the Mekong Delta. He went on to study near death experiences with Elisabeth Kubler Ross. Then in 1980 he published an article in Military Review magazine(December 1980) about the 'new mental battlefield', which he said could involve telepathy or weapons that interfered with the brain's own electrical activity. That caught the attention of two senior Army generals, who encouraged him to pursue what were then called 'soft kill' technologies.

Actually what is so cool about "Bioelectromagnetism" is that you start looking at the world as if it were nothing but energy patterns and frequencies. Certain functions of the brain can be tuned in electronically to cause certain hormones to start flowing, to cause muscles to move or not, and to ultimately change our genetic blueprints. We are not "victims" however of some mad scientist sitting in a laboratory somewhere monitoring us by satellite. The beauty of this is that once you recognize what your own mind can do, you can start controlling your environment and your own body....and sometimes alter the reality of the mad scientists sitting in the laboratories monitoring by satellite.....by altering their physical and mental realities. (Weird humour applied here).

Anyway the mind is a powerful tool. We can do some pretty fantastic things within and without an EM field....but the EM field enhances everything we can do. It makes telepathy happen, (remember microwaves can be used as carrier waves and can carry much needed information), makes memories viewable, can heal what needs to be healed and unfortunately can kill. But you can stick with the more positive uses instead of the abuses of EM fields. You can alter brain chemistry, you can alter body chemistry as a result of altering brain chemistry. You can use pre-cognition, telekinesis. If you look at the brain as being electrical in nature, have we not already intercepted electrical signals and intrepreted those signals into visuals?

I do not want to jeopardize my relationship with Colonel John Alexander and I do admire him. I have followed his work ever since 1991 and have applied other techniques outside of the mere domain of science. I like him as a person and quite frankly I hope he still writes to me after I write this blog. He calls me his "loyal opposition", whatever that means but I do enjoy him. I have caused a few hairs to stand on end in my day....without hair gel. I have had research scientists blow up in my face....that means I am doing something right. Anyway, John if you are reading this, I want to still be your "loyal opposition". Please keep writing.

A Frequently Asked Question

Everyone always wonders what bioelectromagnetism is when they ask me about my interests. First of all, let's start with what electromagnetic waves are. Light, radio and x-rays are all examples of electromagnetic waves. They are a special type of transverse wave meaning that the energy from the oscillations moves perpendicular and away from the vibrating source. The electromagnetic waves consist of two transverse waves, one component of the wave being a vibrating electric field while the other is a corresponding magnetic field.

Although all electromagnetic waves (hereto referred to as EM waves) travel at the speed of light, the particular type of EM wave can be defined by it's frequency or wavelength. EM waves differ from other transverse waves in that they do not need a medium such as air, water or steel to travel through. Radio, gamma and visible light waves have no problem traveling through the emptiness of space.

EM waves are created by moving charges in atoms, which create an electric field that in turn creates a corresponding magnetic field. The energy from the moving electrons radiates into the area around the moving charge.

The EM spectrum ranges from low(radio waves)frequency to high(gamma rays) frequencies.

Maxwell in 1861 demonstrated the relationship between vibrating electric and magnetic fields. He described the nature of EM fields and waves through four equations known as "Maxwell Equations), (hard for me to memorize and I had help in learning them from Lynda Williams who writes science songs for women and their daughters....my favorite being the Quark Sing-a-long and Hi Tech Girl sung to Mondonna's "Material Girl").

Anyway....back to business....Hertz proved that the EM waves existed.

Now, thanks to weird science, after being in an EM field, I can do all kinds of neat and interesting things....definitely not normal.....but comfortable.
